The Xuzhou, China-based firm claimed that the Yimin Mine is “the world’s first mining website to function a fleet of 100 zero-carbon, absolutely autonomous electrical haul vehicles,” marking a milestone in sustainable mining practices and cross-industry collaboration.
“This initiative represents a convergence of power, technological, gear, and industrial revolutions,” acknowledged Yang Dongsheng, chairman of XCMG Group and XCMG Equipment.
