    Claire chatted to Alan Winfield from the College of the West of England about creating new requirements for ethics and transparency in robotics.

    Alan Winfield is Professor of Robotic Ethics on the College of the West of England (UWE), Visiting Professor on the College of York, and Affiliate Fellow of the Cambridge Centre for the Way forward for Intelligence. Alan co-founded the Bristol Robotics Laboratory, the place his analysis is focussed on the science, engineering and ethics of cognitive robotics. Alan is an advocate for robotic ethics; he chairs the advisory board of the Accountable Expertise Institute on the College of Oxford and has co-drafted new requirements on moral threat evaluation and transparency.
